unlikely metronome.
And the sunlight beats down, creating a melody throughout my skin.
And my skin is alive, waking my bones from their deep winter slumber.
And the wind dances slowly, twirling my hair with such gentle grace.
And my hair sweeps across my freckeled cheeks, turning them to the sky.
And the birds whsiper softly, inspiring a genuine smile of warmth.
And the warmth spreads far, from my head down to my roots.
And the roots dig deep to feel the bass of this sweet earth.
And the earth sings a song, a song we all know as spring.
