Find me in the dark
Oh, be my guiding light
If it’s meant to be,
It will be.
As I lower my head,
Lift my spirits, please.
If it’s mean to be,
It will be.
Destiny is something
not to be toyed with
or so I’ve been taught.
But maybe, just maybe,
For once in your life,
You could do what you want,
Instead of what you ought.
So find me in the dark,
And guide me to the light.
Take my face in your hands
And warm up my soul.
If it’s meant to be,
It will be.
