Genesis
I
The six thinkers give us questions
to help us better understand the world around us.
Questions like,
why does the Earth spin?
Ideas happen because of these six thinkers,
How, Who, What, Where, Why, and When.
How did this happen?
Who am I?
What’s going to happen, now?
Where are we going?
Why are we here?
When are we going to leave?
The more we know
the more we don’t know.
II
The existence of all
began with a thought
and then branched out like a tree to be many leaves of ideas.
Some may call it the ‘Big Bang Theory’
telling us this was luck of the draw
that we can to be.
No,
there has to be a ‘godly’ power
behind why we exist.
I don’t know who’s right.
Every religion has a genesis,
the beginning, or story of creation.
But I do know
this wasn’t an accident.
We were meant to be here.
On this one world,
Together.
