Cry For The Moon
As close as the clam,
About the black and white color in me;
Nuts for selling myself out
Just to gain the beauty of the rainbow,
Though the truth is
I'm in a cell of great pain,
And there's no easy way out
To save the suffering heart
From the burning fire of blood,
But to face the dying music
Of the snowy yesterdays.
And now, tears are brushing up on the past,
Hoping for you, at the last time,
With a bright moon above,
To read between the lines
So the hidden language in the eyes
Made it known to you
Before you tread the middle aisle;
Before you make Holy vows.
