What I Never Knew
I never knew I could be this happy.
I never knew I could be this lucky.
I never knew how one guy could change my world completely
I never knew how much I could trust someone
I never knew how much I could miss someone
I never knew how much love could be shown in a hug
I never knew I could honestly say those three words
I never knew I could feel the way I do now
I never knew this simple message would be so hard to explain
I never knew so many things about what could, would, and should happen
But I find most important what I know now
And that, my friend, is that
I love you.
I never knew I could be this regretful
I never knew I could be mad
I never knew how one guy could turn my world upside down
I never knew how you could be so misleading
I never knew how much you could suck as a person
I never knew how much hate could be shown in an action
I never knew I could honestly fall for a lie
I never knew I could feel the way I do now
I never knew a simple message would be so hard to explain
I never knew so many things about what could, would, and should happen
But I find most important what I know now
And that, my friend, is that
I hate you.
