Laughter drifts
Over the hot humid streets
Sprinklers click
Little fingers cling to sweets

Warm rain
Drops to hot red cheeks
Barefoot running
Through puddles on the streets

Fireworks crackle
Dazzling colors bursting free
Children cheer
As they fall into the sea
