One by One
They start falling
one
by
one
my tears fall like rain
my screams, once like thunder have long since stopped
all i can do is lay here in the darkness in an abandoned alley
and wonder
why me?
why?
he has long past gone
the man
the stranger
he left the knife embedded in my chest
and as i slowly fade away
the great sky cracks open with its own piercing scream and the rain falls
one
by
one
and all i can do is lay there and hope death comes fast
