I'd sit in the rain for hours waiting for it
waiting for the light drizzle drizzle of the rain stopping to let you know it's coming
waiting for that bright flash of hope across the horizon
a mixture of colors bringing joy and possibilities, hope and the promise of no suffering
i still wait even when it's long gone,sad
that there still is suffering
that there's a war going on
that hope only comes with suffering
and that possibilities are everywhere
the possibility of dying
living
homelessness
sickness
and being just flat out broke
so here i wait
and i wait
and i wait
for my signal of hope to come
for my sign of possibility
for the signal of no suffering
because to me
it's more than a rainbow
