Georgia Fireflies
All alone I stand
in the warm dark night
Staring at that field
Amazed by the lights
Hundreds, maybe thousands
of flashing blinking lights
Glowing and moving
Sending secret messages
known only to them
I stand in awe
not wanting to look away
I'm captivated
Just captivated
by these Georgia fireflies
