The Love Is Gone
I love you with all my heart
And I tell you almost everyday
But whenever I do say it
You just look the other way
I just don’t understand
I thought that everything was fine
I’d hug you and you’d kiss me
What’s mine was yours and what’s yours was mine
I know I’ve done you wrong
And I’ve taken all the blame
I’ve changed all of my old ways
But in your eyes I’m still the same
I can see in your heart
That your love has been misplaced
And I’ll do anything to help you find it
If that’s truly the case
I don’t want to lose you
My love was never a con
But deep down inside of me
I feel that the love is gone
