I now Understand

why I look to him that way.
I now Understand,
what he did, he may not have meant.
I now Understand,
why I let him beat me up.
I now Understand,
that our brotherly love of kicking and punching left nothing but scars.
I now Understand,
what he does is how he loves
I now look back,
at the legacy he has left for me.
I now look back, and Understand
who he is.

I am writing this poem about my brother because, even though he somtimes is mean to me, he has changed and left a mark on me.
