I am from
I am from the hand-me-downs
from my sisters worn birthday gifts.
I am from the scrapes and bruises on my knees from the hours spent playing outside.
I am from the long list of chores
hung up on my door every week.
I am from the broken collar bones and toes,
to the sprained knees and ankle throughout my lifetime. I?m from the seldom tears shed on sad days,
to the constant belly aches from laughing until I cry.
I am from the cherished time spent with my family, and the unbroken bond I share with my sister.
I am from the grass burns from soccer,
and my aching body the day after practice.
I am from my wonderful friends that keep me sane,
and the high school experiences that will constantly shape me. I am from the late night studying,
and last minute homework's.
I am from the people who will come in and out of my life, and i?m from the ones who will stay.
But I will always be from my two wonderful parents, who made me, me.
