I want you to know
I didn’t plan any of this
It wasn’t my intention
For any of this to happen
I only wanted the pain
To go away
I was happy
At least on the outside
I deserved better
I was better
I just fell
And couldn’t get back up
I didn’t want help
I wasn’t that type of kid
The one who cared about
How she looked
It wasn’t a dream
To look like the models
I only wanted to feel
Normal
Once a week
Turned to twice a week
The cycle continued
Until I couldn’t remember
The last time
I had eaten
