Winter
Christmas, cold yet warm and full of love as families laugh by the fire
Children sleep restlessly with sounds of jingle bells in their dreams
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, "Happy New Year!" is heard around the world
Valentine's Day, coldest month yet warm with love and happiness
Chocolate hearts and declarations of love all around
Wind whipping through the bare trees day after day
Nights long and dark seemingly with no end
Snow falls quietly creating a wonderland
Snow as white as clouds and as cool as a cucumber
Children run outside, bundled up, wide smiles defining your face
They play for hours, cheeks rosy and cold
Their screams of glee can be heard everywhere as they jump on their sleds and whoosh! downhills
Winter: cold, dark, long, yet full of love and joy for all
