The 17.
The ones who shouldn't have.
The ones who will never be.
The ones who were too small.
The ones who will never rise up again.
But we will remember.
We will untie the knots.
We will rise up.
Against this world
who has their eyes closed
ears shut
and tongues tied
and say,
Never again.
These are scars that will stay.
