Cruising in the Socal waves, having lots of fun
Searching the ocean all day like a sailor at sea
Trying to find that best waves with my friends can be really fun at times
And when you score and the waves are good you know that it is prime
The prime time of your life; But when the Pacific waves are flat I still live life where its at
The swell that I remember, the sweet time I treasure in the Socal waves
Is something that all us surfers truly crave
Like ice cream on a warm day its pretty nice
Stay Socal thats my advice
The Socal seas stay blue; They will always stay that way and so should you

This is my article about surfing and how its enjoyable here in southern california. I shortboard a few times a week as well as play basketball. I have participated in some competitions. I hope me and my friends progress in surfing and I hope to continue to write about it, here on Teen Ink!
