Less Than Three
This is not a new story,
But it is for me.
I’d do anything to see you smile.
I’ll do anything.
Then I’ll sweep you off your feet,
And feel your heart hit the ground.
I could never find the right words.
One hundred thousand of them couldn’t describe.
If only you knew,
‘I love you’ is an understatement.
If only you knew,
I’ll always ‘less than three’ you
I’d show how much I love you
But my arms are too small
And I’ll ask for forgiveness for future mistakes,
If you wrap yourself in these lyrics.
Then we’ll talk about how we both end up sorry,
And how paranoia gets the better of me,
More than I could stand to take,
But less than I could care to say.
If only you knew,
‘I love you’ is an understatement.
If only you knew,
I’ll always ‘less than three’ you
But the perfect words will tie my tongue,
If I have to prove this I will
Am I worth saving?
Is it worth saying?
There goes my heart, here comes the downfall
There goes my heart, here comes the downfall
There goes my heart, here comes the downfall
