Sorry's turn to goodbye's,
Then it's your heartless lies,
I'll never forgive you.
Your fake concern for my sake,
covers up your big mistake,
but I can see right through you.
You hope I don't know your plans,
yet somehow I understand,
it's hard to love.
Backstab all you want,
but your guilt will always haunt,
your mind forever.
And somehow I understand,
Yeah somehow I understand,
It's best to forgive...and be forgiven!

Hey! Nice to see a fellow Rockford Michigander on the site. Don't find too many of those. Love the poem! It's beautiful.
