all i ask is for a chance
a simple "may i have this dance?"
so i took a shot in the dark
where well kept secrets lark
has this all be my dream
as real as it has all seam
in the shadows my nightmare
with no light shadows unrare
this has all be a bad night
which is why i stood alone this fight
all i wanted was a chance
a simple "may i have this dance"
...no chance has been given
...this is a lie i have been living
