Camelion
You stepped right in
You test the waters, the blue florescent
Thats fading in
Your body's blue and u profess it
Yeah it's good
For a year you fit right in
And yeah you should
Because blue's your favorite color
Isn't it now?
But then you feel
Restless, less than breathless
The slice you peeled
Has finally sent the message
Hasn't it now?
Before you know it
You are orange afraid to show it
To yourself and nobody else
It's you in the moment
Camelion! come running, running to me
Display your colors, and sincere apathy
Camlieon! Tell me how long, how long you'll stay?
Before you begin
To blend right in
You camelion
And so you awoken
Today would be the day
You have chosen
And all your colors in the way
You face the mirror
That scalled studded face disappears
If only for a moment
You find yourself
But then you see the rainbow
And you jump right in…
Its too much to resist!
Camelion! come running, running to me
Display your colors, and sincere apathy
Camlieon! Tell me how long, how long you'll stay?
Before you begin
To blend right in
You camelion
Go and chase the rainbow
Just chase it down
You only want its glory its vision its sound
Never look beyond, what may lie at it's end
Rubble and debris, and message left to send
Dear identity
I love you so
But now its time for me to go
Identity don't forget me
Its only pride I live for
But who knew the colors were transcendent
When they washed ashore
Camelion! come running, running to me
Display your colors, and sincere apathy
Camlieon! Tell me how long, how long you'll stay?
Before you begin
To blend right in
You camelion
