Flow

The moon and stars come out at night
The sun comes out at day
Some may try and stop these things
But they’ll happen anyway
Some people want control
Of everything they see
But I’ll tell you that that’s not true
At least it’s not for me

Life is a river
Steady as it goes
You can change its path
But it will always flow
A river is a metaphor
On which we should rely
Just hop on the boat of life
And wave at people going by

Have you ever had one of those times
When life goes way too fast?
You want it to last forever
Then you blink and it is past
Well, if you flow I’ll promise you
Even if you blink
Life will last longer
If you don’t stop and think

Go with the flow
Take life as it comes at you
