Going somewhere new
Or at least new to me
Well I've been there before
But mostly in my dreams
It's been so long
That I really want to go
Can't hardly stand waiting
Torturously slow
Why this place you ask
I'm glad you did you see
This place is where I have
All of my family
They await my arrival
At home on the bayou
I really hope to join them
Very very soon
These muddy waters
I'm treading them now
I know will lead me
To home somehow
