Maybe
I know the way you look at me
You think I don't notice but it’s plain to see
The longing look in your eyes
The slight smile on your lips
They're all signs that lead me to believe
Maybe you feel the same way that I do
Maybe you also want to say ‘I love you’
Maybe we are both too shy to make a move
How I would give anything for all it to be true
I see the way you follow every step I take
You don't notice that I seem to know your every mistake
A stare that lingers a bit too long
A brief mention of my name
I'm curious to see when our guards will break
Maybe you feel the same way that I do
Maybe you also want to say ‘I love you’
Maybe we are both too shy to make a move
How I would give anything for all it to be true
Sometimes I wonder if there's any meaning behind the way you look at me
Like it's some type of message that I need to decode in order to read
Tell me I'm not paranoid to be thinking about you this way
Tell me I'm not alone in the words I'm trying to say
Maybe you feel the same way that I do
Maybe you also want to say, I love you
Maybe we are both too shy to make a move
How I would give anything for all it to be true
I know the way you look at me
You think I don't notice but it’s plain to see
