Where is He Now?
Everyday,
My strength is lost.
A part of me dies,
While I pay the cost,
For being a believer,
And living my life as God would want.
Chorus:
Where is he now?
Where am I supposed to turn?
My foundation is gone,
For salvation I yearn.
All my hope is lost,
My faith is no more.
Where is he now?
Where is my lord?
I live in a place,
Filled with sorrow and hate.
I watch my people die,
At an alarming rate.
Each new day I fear for my own life.
Though nothing is worth suffering this strife.
Chorus:
Where is he now?
Where am I supposed to turn?
My foundation is gone,
For salvation I yearn.
All my hope is lost,
My faith is no more.
Where is he now?
Where is my lord?
After I am free,
I won't know where to go.
With no more God,
There's no one left that I know.
Chorus:
There he will be,
To him I will turn.
My foundation is strong,
Salvation I will earn.
My faith's present once more.
There he will be,
Forever my Lord.
