All the World's a Stage
All the world’s a stage
You know that all too well
Once you’ve got your spectators
Who knows what tale you’ll tell
Everything is calculated
Every detail planned
You’re the masterful playwright
With performance in command
Write a work of fiction
Put on a f***ing show
Once the lights go down
The audience won’t know
You can write your fortune
Bring your desires to life
You only yield a pen
But do the damage of a knife
You can be what you want
That’s how it’ll seem
The only limitation
Is how big you can dream
Write a work of fiction
Put on a f***ing show
Once you draw the curtains
The audience won’t know
When the show begins
Make them believe your lies
No one will see through them
With some conviction in your eyes
Of course I’ll know the truth
Because I know your type
But what’s one bad review
To the gifted playwright?
And when the last scene closes
They’ll throw flowers at your feet
All will sing your praises
And none realize your deceit
Write a work of fiction
Put on a f***ing show
Once you take your bow
The audience won’t know
Write a work of fiction
Put on a f***ing show
Once the play has ended
The audience won’t know
