I'm Alright
I've been killin' time
Sortin' through the hand-me-downs of years that passed me by
Those tulips that we planted in your garden last spring have died
But I'm alright, thanks for asking
I've been on a scavenger hunt, but
I don't know what I'm searching for
And I've been living on the edge
I don't know my own name, but
I'm not keepin' score
But I'm alright, thanks for asking
I think life is a lot like the tulips in your garden
Made to grow and face the harshest storms
If we all picked flowers instead of fights
And learned the difference between wrong and right
Talked a little less and listened a little more
Slow our roll and stop keeping score
Then maybe, we'd all be alright
