Your eyes, they remind me
Of everything I thought I'd put behind me
Hiding from the trees and the winds of the hurricanes
The sunny days that never came

I smiled and you laughed at me
It's wearing thin
I wanna be close to you, closer to you
But I can't

We're just drifting away
Farther and farther away
