Why’d you have to leave? Why’d you have to go?
Why’d I have to go through life hoping you would show?
No one would ever know. No one could ever know.
To think it would have worried me to try to battle through.
[But now it’s all over; you’re all gone; in a better place.
You don’t have to worry. But I hope you use your wings to visit me.
I never said goodbye so… goodbye.]
There must be a place where I can hide, ‘cause all I ever want to do is cry.
Where’d you go? I’ve been looking for you. Our mistakes are behind us.
No one will remind us of the pain that we face through our life trying to battle through.
[But now it’s all over; you’re all gone; in a better place.
You don’t have to worry. But I hope you use your wings to visit me.
I never said goodbye so… goodbye.]
Why can’t I ever stop thinking of you? I only want to be in your arms. No sense in the memory.
So absorb my love and my pain. See past every lie I’ve told you.
It’s only part of history. Don’t leave me as a memory.
[‘Cause now it’s all over; you’re all gone; in a better place.
You don’t have to worry. But I hope you use your wings to visit me.
I never said goodbye so (never said goodbye)… I need to say goodbye so (need to say goodbye)…
Goodbye.]

This is a song that I wrote about my Dad who passed away on May 10, 2012. It is a bit sad but it shows all the regret I have towards how i treated him.
