The jersey I wear
The jersey I wear
The jersey I wear has a rip and a tear,
But it's ours as a team and as a team we share,
From the evening sky, to the morning sun,
It's about learning to become one,
The people you meet along the way,
The feeling you get when it's time to play,
Are things I love about this game,
It's 99%work and 1% fame
Look at me now, for once I am found,
When you look over and hear the sound,
Of bats rattling and the crowd at a roar,
This feeling make you want to soar,
From mountain tops to outer space,
Put on your cleats and tie the lace,
The games go by, another hour.
But the feeling you get never goes sour,
For this game it's what ever it takes,
Hard work pays off, the higher the stakes,
It doesn't matter who you are, It doesn't matter where your from,
Remember through it all,
The best is yet to come
