Verse 1:
Follow me
Call for me
All I do is cry, I cry
It was all just a game to you
Never wanting to see me through
And now I'm alone, all alone

Chorus:
Life shouldn't have to hurt so bad
Love shouldn't have to feel so sad
Lessons are learned and people get hurt
Sometimes its better to be on your own, on your own

Verse 2:
Slowly starting to feel again
After the pain you put me through
I’m happy on my own
Stronger than before
No longer on my mind
No more reasons to cry
No longer in my life
Ready to move on

Repeat Chorus

The author's comments:
This song was inspired by the complications of real life relationships. This song expresses the feelings that heartbroken people have when they don't get what they expected. It also teaches that love shouldn't be complicated, but simple and fun. And in the end, people would rather be on there own.

This is completely awesome! The lyrics alone are sad, but when you combine them with the the music you composed and your ability to write with such heart and conviction at such a young age shows that you have the talent to be a great song writer. Keep up the great work!
