I addiction
I addiction
I wake to the sound of my dad’s deep but soft voice
Saying “get up, get up it is time for school”
To realize that know was the the time to wake up.
As I open my eyes I am blinded by the light
Then push the warm yet heavy sheets off my body
But seconds after I realize my mistake
Because immediately the cold crisp air the fan was spitting out started to attack my body
Then seconds later I grasp the cold addictive drug that I know as my phone from its Resting Place
To check both the battery and the notifications
Only to realize that my favorite app of all and most addictive of my collection ifunny it says it Has more funny photos, as I scroll through the pictures they get funnier and funnier
Until there are no more
I quickly realize that I have school.
I walk down the hall making sure to leave my phone behind me.

The reson I wrote my poem about this is because I recently realized how much time us as modern Humans spend on phones, video games, watching TV, and so much more. When instead we could be spending that time playing out side or practicing sports. Just somthing that has to do with realife not the animated one that we know more about than our own.
