The Sky Knows Why
The immensity of the sky
Makes me wonder why
I'm still in a haze
After all of these days.
You've put me under your spell,
Now I can no longer tell
Wrong from right,
Leaving me with blurred sight.
The darkness of the night
Leaves me without the will to fight.
It leads me right back to you
Even though I know we should be through.
But when it's all said and done
I can no longer run
Because I miss the way we used to be,
You and me,
Sitting beneath the tress
On those starry nights,
When we were so wrong it was almost right.
