Open Your Eyes

To dream with my eyes open,
And sing with my mouth closed.
See the world through others eyes,
To understand their roads.
See the pain,
In their eyes.
Feel the heartache,
In their cries.
Through the windows,
I can see.
That you of all,
Know of these things.
Read between,
These painful lines.
To get a sense,
Of others lies.
You now have,
The gift to read.
Now go out there,
And help them please.
