Difficult Line
It’s a difficult line to walk
Between truth and a lie.
Truth enough to seem true
but not enough to question why.
It’s a difficult line to walk
Between share and not to share.
Say a little too much you and
all your secrets are out there.
A simple balance act you’ll see,
Tilt a little, now your falling
Try and continue without stalling
It’s a balance act you’ll see.
It’s a difficult line to walk
Between real and just plain fake.
Real enough that you’re still you
but less for your own sake.
It’s a difficult line to walk
Between alone and together
Space enough to still function
not too much, others know better.
A simple balance act you’ll see,
Tilt a little, now your falling
Try and continue without stalling
It’s a balance act you’ll see.
Walk don’t run and try not to fall.
Take your time hold your breath
and just give it your all.
A simple balance act you’ll see,
Tilt a little, now your falling
Try and continue without stalling
It’s a balance act you’ll see.
It’s a difficult line to walk
Between okay and not okay
You can say you’re ok over and over each day
But people won’t believe you cause’ you’re really not okay.
