Honda Pilot
The all-new 2016 Honda Pilot is by-far different than its previous model. 350 pounds lighter, multi-functional infotainment system, multi-terrain function, seating to 7-8 passengers (depending if you get captain chairs), the pilot is ready for anything you throw at it. This review provides a summery of what makes the 2016 pilot a fun, affordable, and has all the space you need.
exterior
Different than its cube-like body style, the Honda's new exterior structure is trendy and completely redesigned. Including LED head/tail lights, new aerodynamic look, and towing a whopping 6,000 pounds. A 2-all wheel drive is standard. A multifunctional terrain response is standard. Mud, sand, and normal is standard with 2 wheel drive . Snow is only available in all wheel drive.
interior
front
The Pilot's new control design is more complex than last year's model. All models have a push-button start system. A manual gear shift is available for LX, EX, EX-L. A new push-button gear shift gear shift is available for TOURING and ELITE. The ELITE model has a heated steering wheel.
rear
For models LX, EX, EX-L, and TOURING models have a bench-seat style in the middle row, but the ELITE model has a captain chair-style seating in the middle row. Although, the center console interferes with the pass-through between the seats. Honda's new "one-touch, easy access" allows the seat to fold down and move forward, allowing convenient access to the third row. Along with the ELITE, captain chairs are included with heated seats. All models include a push button start, USB outlet in the front and back. For the middle row, a console includes, at least one USB port, 3 head phone jacks, (EX-L, TOURING, and ELITE),
heated seat control (only in ELITE), and AC control.
