My Kind Of Christmas

‘Twas the night before Christmas,

All the children are asleep,

Not a sound in the house,

Not even a peep

There’s wrapping paper everywhere,

And pumpkin spice fills the air

The snow outside in all its glory,

As Santa begins this years Christmas story

As the ornaments on the tree twinkle and shine,

The children dream “ All the presents soon to be mine!“

While the children dream of what will be in their stocking,

There’s sounds on the roof of reindeer walking

When the children wake from their dreamy night,

A glut of presents are in their sight

As they sit and open their favorite present,

The looks on their faces are very pleasant

As the exciting day comes to an end,

And the children play in the snow,

With the half eaten cookies and hot cocoa

The man in the sled goes “Ho, Ho, Ho!”
