Grandma's House
It feels like only yesterday
I was playing in the yard
Smelling the bark
The house was full of life
With family from near and far
The toys brought me joy
And leaving brought me tears
Grandma would bring food
And Grandpa would bring the laughs
But now it’s quiet
The life is gone
Now the house brings memories
I thought would last
You only go back to remember
Before you leave it
For good

I loved going to my Grandparents house as a kid. I cherish the memories I made there, and not till I'm older I realized that they would never be the same.
