It Wasn't Me
Murdered.
My father.
It wasn’t me.
But they don’t understand.
They think I’m lying but
You, my friend, understand me. You
Fought back harder than anyone. I told
Them the truth but to them it was
Rubbish. They put me in custody with no evidence.
Cold hearted officers ignored me when I pleaded but yelled
When I didn’t say what I was supposed to.
I told them again and again that it
wasn’t me but they didn’t believe me.
I was so lonely. Finally you
came to visit and you
Were crying but with
No reason. I
Was confused:
Why?
“It was me”
